We’re proud to welcome you to Peninsula Caravan Park, now under new management since June 2022. We were all from Wollongong NSW, but both my sons Ben & Riley have visited Cooktown and Cape York many times each year over the past 12 years. Exploring and fishing and just enjoying the natural beauty of the landscape, but most of the lay back relaxed vibe that Cooktown tends to share.

As now a local family, we’re taken on this park, which was established approx. 48 years ago, with passion and pride. We see it more than just a business – but our home, and we hope it feel like yours too. Over the next three years, our goal is to thoroughly restore and upgrade communal areas and are committed to making continuous improvement to this beautiful park for your comfort.

We take genuine joy in helping visitors feel welcome, relaxed and be part of historical Cooktown.
